Celerina is the place to visit for those who want to bask in hours of Swiss sunshine—boasting more rays than anywhere else in the Engadin. This pretty little town also wins the hearts of visitors with its charming Alpine village made up of traditional Engadin houses.
Close by is the aerial cableway to Marguns, which transports guests directly to the glamorous mountain and ski area of St. Moritz-Corviglia, as well as the Upper Engadin’s expansive network of trails through forests and meadows.
One of the most romantic Alpine bathing lakes in the Upper Engadin is the Lej da Staz (Lake Staz) - a glorious puddle of water encircled by the vast Staz forest. Reached by an easy stroll through mountain scenery, an alternate arrival is by horse-drawn carriage.
